Bravery Begins
Boy with a Wooden Sword by Edmund Adler (1876–1965)
You can’t see it, but I sure can,
A dragon loose and on the run!
His tail is long and pointy too
With scaly wings red as the sun!
He has stone for skin, save one spot
Below the chin is how it’s done.
My sword is magic, watch it soar,
The dragon’s dead, and I have won!
