The Curse of Modern Man
Sisyphus (1548ā49) by Titian
So tired am I,
That I forgot my coffee.
So fat am I,
That I no longer exercise.
I have paid top dollar
To sell me soul at work.
I have taken every warm drug
To find the stone, cold truth.
It takes a lot of lies
For people to see the real me.
It takes a lot of war
For me to make peace.
In my search for a distraction,
I became distracted.
In my love of lust,
I lost all love.
I would kill Jesus
To prove Iām a good person.
I would kill myself
To live forever.
